Enrich your vision by improving your health.

Living with a professional nutritionist has its perks. Embracing a healthier a way of life will definitely improve your vision. Most people will agree that they lack the knowledge of nutrition basics and physical fitness that support healthy bodies.  In addition, most people will admit to neglecting to eat a nutritionally balanced diet, followed by regular exercise, and will show imprudence about their food selections that contribute to chronic diseases prevailing later in life.  Others blamed poor daily food choices and the absence of keeping fit on being too tired or that it just became a traditional, pleasurable, and comforting lifestyle left unchanged.
With that said, I implore you to consider going on a weight management, nutrition, and exercise program. This may include seeking out  professional nutrition and exercise guidance for even a short time period. I promise it will enrich your lives and the overall benefits will last long-term.  Believe me, after seeing my wife’s clients lose more than 40 and even 90 pounds in 90 days- it’s amazing to see how confident they have become. Get your butt in shape, improve your health, before a deteriorating disease or ailment clouds your vision.

Time to team up and breed those leaders early.

Start your kids early and team up yourself.
As I reflect upon all the teams I have participated on over the years, I see invaluable lessons learned that have carried over into my life. For me, youth sports will always hold a special place in my heart.  It molded my character and influenced me in so many ways.   Practicing sportsmanship, winning, experiencing personal improvement, teamwork, and camaraderie at a young age has taught me many things.  Respect, integrity, humility, class, and poise are among the most important teachings that I have internalized growing up.  I also believe that the physical and emotional pressures improved my social skills and self-confidence to reach further, play harder, and perform well with others in all stages of my life.  Based on these wonderful self-development experiences through youth sports, I would recommend that your children get involved in team competition at an early age and that you stay consistent and committed throughout.  In addition, I further indorse taking part in something that may bring you back to your youth.  This could very well improve your life in many capacities.  Whether it is coaching young kids, joining a softball league, or being a part of something challenging or fun, teamwork will yield many things under the right leadership.   Not only is group competition healthy at any age, it teaches you how to work together toward achieving common goals and objectives.  Ultimately, the more focused, productive, and cohesive you are, the more likely you will succeed as a team and in life.  So get off the couch and get your kids of the Wii.  Go join a team!

My thoughts on Synergy.

As we move further ahead in our lives, our accomplishments will depend heavily on the level of commitment, collaboration, and synergistic behavior we choose to use.  Connecting with people with a high-level of trust is the key to a successful synergy.  When confidence and cooperation are at its height, synergy can contribute to a lot of things.  People begin to create and innovate when vision, values, initiatives, and action plans are shared.  Nonetheless, it takes continuous assessment, action, and improvement to strengthen this combined effort.  When people, teams, partners, and organizations find ways to achieve a solution or goal using the highest form of Win/Win, the net effect is stronger relationships, enhanced communication, openness, and willingness to share knowledge, skills, and ideas. A genuine synergy becomes an awakening and remarkable bonding when creativity begins to flourishes freely.  For collaborators, engaging in synergistic behavior can mean positive outcomes, new opportunities, and other ways of doing things.  At the end of the day, strong visions rely on vital synergies to achieve something.

Check out the Global Dialogue Center. Pretty Awesome!

Just so you know I am always seeking that little bit to inspire me and others. With that said, I stumbled upon an Exhibit located on the Knowledge Gallery at the Global Dialogue Center.  I know there are countless places to discover rich information on leadership, professional, and personal development.  Nonetheless, I give this virtual gathering place http://bit.ly/aHWKpW my complete endorsement.  This Web site has it all, wonderful tools and great resources.

In any event, this Exhibit http://bit.ly/LtGuTe (celebrating 100 years of Victor Frankl) caught my attention.  It is undoubtedly something that is very near and dear to my heart.  Having read Stephen Covey’s book, “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People “ where he articulates a little bit about Victor Frankl and most importantly, being a descendant of Nazi survivors myself, I have come to appreciate this man so much with his astonishing vision.

For those of you who have the time, Victor Frankl’s book entitled, “Man’s Search for Meaning” http://yhoo.it/M1Jl5r , is an inspiring read as well.  To give you a brief summary, Victor Frankl was a Viennese neurologist and psychologist who was imprisoned in the Nazi death camps.  Unlike the six million innocent Jews that were slaughtered at the hands of the Nazis, Frankl was one of the lucky few to live to tell his story like my grandparents did.  Visualization is what helped him and aided others with their extraordinary survival.

In Victor Frankl’s own words:
The prisoner who had lost faith in the future “his future” was doomed.  Without his belief in the future, he lost his spiritual hold: he let himself decline and became subject to mental and physical decay.  Usually this happened quite suddenly, in the form of a crisis, the symptoms of which were familiar to the experienced camp inmates.

It began with the prisoner refusing one morning to get dressed and washed or to go out on the parade grounds. No entreaties, no blow, no threats had any effect. He just lay there, hardly moving. He simply gave up. There he remained, lying in his own excreta, and nothing bothered him anymore http://bit.ly/XKZlF .
Once again, if you have a few minutes in your day, take a moment to watch this video http://bit.ly/KGR0ZL called, “The Power of Vision” by Joel A. Barker.  Joel Barker is an amazing visionary, so you will appreciate this brief documentary. His video is based on the story of Victor Frankl and how positive vision of the future kept him alive.

P-your Vision thoughts.

Are you compelled to complete the next level of achievement?  Are you prepared to liberate new growth opportunities?  Life is filled with learning.  Each and every day, self-improvement, knowledge, and opportunity are within reach.  Developing new skills and training the mind will lead you down that path to success. Reaching that potential takes commitment, enthusiasm, accountability, confidence, self-management, and great balance.   To become truly effective, you must take charge of your life, challenge yourself, and set realistic goals.  If your goals are effortlessly achieved, you are not fulfilling your maximum ability.  Your goals must be measurable, identifiable, diverse, short, intermediate, and long-term.  In preparation of these goals, construct an action plan.  Build a roadmap to help you both personally and professionally.   Surround yourself with positive individuals and a sophisticated support network. Explore future scenarios and strengthen your vision.   Create a winning formula that helps you master this pure vision.

Need a little inspiration?

Are you inspired?  Are you committed to your goals?  Sometimes a simple quote or two can push you that much further to succeed.  As a quote junkie, I love the wealth of writing styles from so many ageless icons in literary history.  Whether it is the 7th Century AD or even the 20th Century, these are the visionaries that capture such beautiful words of wisdom.  Filling our brains and hearts with only a few eloquent sentences is all we may need for a little inspiration.  Just a few minutes a day, that’s all it takes to gives us that extra thrust of motivation. The effects of these quotations can be so incredibly enlightening.

Words of Vision:

If only we could pull out our brain and use only our eyes.

Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) Spanish painter.

We lift ourselves by our thought. We climb upon our vision of ourselves. If you want to enlarge your life, you must first enlarge your thought of it and of yourself. Hold the ideal of yourself as you long to be, always everywhere.

Orison Swett Marden (1850-1924) American author and founder of Success magazine.

Cherish you visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul; the blue prints of your ultimate achievements.

Napoleon Hill (1883-1970) American speaker and motivational writer.

I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over, and I've seen the Promised Land.

The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.

Winston Churchill (1874-1965) British politician.
